Just another quick update! Business is picking up; people are starting to look for homes & land again! YAY! Hopefully this indicates a bit more confidence in the economy.
I'm teaching the Home Buyers Education Class tonight & I love the class! I so wish they taught this information in high school, when you really need to know a little bit about credit counseling, looking for a home, what the processs is, how you even proceed! If you're in the Montezuma/Dolores Counties areas, and would like to take the class, please call me. The classes are the first Tuesday & Thursday of every month & have a rotating speaker schedule. It's great information! If you're a first time homebuyer, there are still some great deals out there. Don't hesitate to contact your favorite Realtor & start the process.

The Weather!
I know some people get tired of talking about the weather but this winter/spring has been just crazy! Yesterday we had high winds & eventually a dirt storm where the dirt just hangs in the air & today we have winds & it's been trying to snow! It would have been a great day for staying at home & working in the sewing room! But....I have signs to finish putting together & then placing on yards, two new listings to go into the MLS & business to take care of. On the next post, I'll try to tell you a bit about my newest listings, both are great listings & I'm exciting about getting pictures! The first one is a wonderful home close to Summit Reservoir with views of the LaPlatas & the Mesas to die for & the home is pretty cool as well. The 2nd listing may take a drying out period to get to but its 35acres on the rim of the Dolores River Canyon! I've sold a parcel there before & one of my favorite things I get to do as a listing broker is to hike/walk the property! These pictures should be excellent! Hopefully I won't fall off the edge. Was hoping to get out there today but as I started out saying, Weather pays an important part of life in Southwest Colorado!

Surely Spring is Coming!
Trying to figure out this blogging thing & thinking I need something amazing to say - and today, with the wind blowing and the allergies running high, all I can think of is: Surely Spring is on it's way! Usually the wind stops blowing around here late March early April but this year's winter has been anything but typical. We finally have green coming up & everyone is so ready for flowers & trees & all the stuff that has pollen in it.....guess I can't have it both ways can I?
On the up side - our Real Estate Market appears to be gearing up for our Spring & Summer cycle so that is exciting! Especially after a slow 2009. Good news for our Sellers and we're looking forward to our new Buyers!
time to try & post this link!
